DIY Christmas Centerpiece Ideas
Christmas! Just the thought of the season brings smiles, thoughts of happy times surrounded by family and friends with lots of sparkling lights and our favorite Christmas songs. But before the festivities begin we have to set the stage. The tree has to be put up and decorated, the garlands hung, the candles and decor put in just the right place, and the presents purchased and wrapped.
It’s so much fun but still a lot to handle so we have put together some centerpiece ideas that you might like. Whatever your style we hope to make your holiday prep a bit easier. Just remember to have fun and enjoy the process. It will all work out beautifully.
Design Tip: The table runner is the “grounding” element for each of these arrangements. Before ordering measure the surface it will be on to determine the length you need to order. Add 6-8 inches on each end (total 12-16) to allow for overhang on the ends of the table if desired.
These designs work perfectly on flat surfaces such as a dining table or buffet. Be creative and enjoy the process.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!!!!

White Christmas Installation Suggestions:
Place the table runner on the surface to be decorated.
Remove the hardware from the back of the mirror and add 4 felt pads evenly around the back to protect your table surface from possible scratches.
Place the mirror tray in the center of the table runner.
Place the trees kind of in the center but a little toward the back of the mirror.
Fluff the garland. Hold the garland in the center, placing that center point at the back of the trees. Wrap the garland loosely around the trees crossing it in front of the trees and draping the ends over the edge of the mirror to rest on the table runner.
Place the reindeer in front of the trees but a bit to the right, just slightly off center.
Use the picks as fillers to add more fullness where needed.

Classic Christmas Installation Suggestions:
Place the table runner on the surface to be decorated.
Remove the hardware from the back of the mirror and add 4 felt pads evenly around the back to protect your table surface from possible scratches.
Place the mirror tray in the center of the table runner.
Clean the apothecary jar to remove smudges, etc. then fill it with ornaments. Now place the jar in the center of the mirror.
Fluff the garland. Placing the center of the garland in front of the jar wrap it loosely around the jar two or three times so that it fills the center of the tray. Because this garland does not have lights it can be cut to the size needed using a pair of sharp wire cutters. Just be sure to fluff the ends around the cut and use needle nose pliers to bend the wires back to prevent any stems from falling off. Or, if you choose not to shorten it just allow the ends to extend onto the table runner.
Place the snowmen centered in front of the jar.
Add picks to the garland around the jar and in any other location you would like.

Fluff the garland and place a double length of garland behind the village, cutting it to the length that is needed or allowing the excess to flow over onto the table runner on each side.
